My name is Thomas 'Tom' Cizauskas. I am a beer and wine salesman, a cask ale partisan, a beer writer and speaker, a brewery consultant, and a past professional brewer and brewpub owner.
This is a chronicle of my love affair with beer: not simply its flavors —as delicious, complex, and varied as they may be— but with its history, science, lore, and evolving creation.
Beer may be my profession, but cask ale —the beauty of beer at its freshest— is my mission.
