For several years, I've been trying to capture a portrait of this lovely lady, but something always seemed off — whether it was distracting foliage, a cluttered background, or an awkward angle. That morning, everything fell into place; I even disregarded my boots sinking into pond muck. When I checked the image on the camera's screen, was that emotion or morning mist in my eyes?
