Pic(k) of the Week: Bicycle PATH

Bicycle PATH

I'm no professional photographer; I only play like one on Flickr. That being said, a photo of mine has been published in...

Rails-to-Trails Magazine
Fall 2021
"Georgia's PATH Foundation Trails"
— Laura Stark
  • Rails to Trails is the house magazine for the eponymous non-profit conservancy that is "dedicated to creating a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines and connecting corridors to build healthier places for healthier people."

  • The PATH Foundation has been "dedicated to trail planning and implementation in Georgia for three decades [since 1991]. The organization is aiming to [soon] reach 300 miles of open trail."

Cizauskas published (in Rails To Trails Magazine)

I took the image in August 2019, in Decatur, Georgia, USA, on the PATH's Stone Mountain Trail. I set focus on a logo'd bike rack in the foreground and waited for a bicyclist to travel into the frame. Then...voilà.
