She just might be the best dressed brewer in the Washington, D.C. area. Or, at least she was at Cask Night.
She is brewster Kristi Mathews Griner, whose official title is Director of Brewing Operations for the Capitol City Brewing Company, of Shirlington, Virginia. With her in the photo is her assistant brewer, Matt Ryan.
Cask Night was a pre-DC Beer Week event, held at the District Chophouse & Brewery, celebrating local cask-conditioned ales. Griner and Ryan brought The Gilded One, a cask-conditioned American-style IPA (India Pale Ale), single hopped with El Dorado.
